About:

Deadfast's FPS Counter is a simple FPS counter addon for ARMA 2.

Using the game's own integrated function of measuring FPS the addon aims to bring the best accuracy with the smallest performance impact.

Installation:

  1. Unpack contents of the RAR archive with WinRAR or similar program (you might leave out the directory keys - this is for servers only) into your ARMA 2 directory.
  2. Create a new shortcut to arma2.exe.
  3. Open the shortcut's properties and:
  4. Click OK to confirm the changes to the shortcut.

Editing User Settings:

  1. Go to ARMA 2's directory (Example: C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2).
  2. Go to directory called userconfig, then to DFS_FPScounter.
  3. Open defaultSettings.hpp file with Notepad or similar text editor.
  4. Edit settings to your liking.
  5. Save and exit.
  6. Restart ARMA 2 if it was running.

Unistallation:

  1. Go to ARMA 2's directory (Example: C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2).
  2. Delete directory called @DFS_FPScounter.
  3. Go to directory called userconfig.
  4. From there delete directory called DFS_FPScounter.
